-Where it all began

In 1998 the culmination of years of planning, hard work, dedication and a vision of excellence in our trade came to fruition and became our Legacy. 25 years later we refuse to forget where we came from.

We opened our doors in June 1998 in a shop that was similar in size to a two car garage. A track saw, table saw, clamps, a few sanders and one truck were the tools that started the journey. Knocking on the doors of as many kitchen and bath designers as we could to get our wheels in motion. The owners and one employee were responsible for every facet of the operation including, sales, material ordering, fabrication and installation. We took every opportunity provided to us and kept our eyes to the future. In 2000 after being awarded the contract for the club level solid surface countertops at Invesco field at Mile High we moved just down the street into a shop similar in size to a 6 car garage with a humble showroom with one countertop display. We now had the storage space and production floor required for a modest commercial and residential operation, growth was in process and we were thankful. We operated from that facility until the decision was made to build our own facility and to make our permanent home in Windsor, Colorado. Our 12,000 square foot facility was completed in late 2002 and we moved in in 2003.

Where we are now

Legacy Counters, Inc. over the span of 25 years has become one of the premier fabricators of solid surfacing, natural stone, and quartz surfaces in Northern Colorado. Our commitment to quality, value and strong customer service standards is as important to us now as it was on day one. We now have over thirty employees many of them having been with our company for over ten years. Some of our employees have been with us for almost our entire time in business! Our commitment to our customers is as important to us as our commitment to the employees that make our success possible. Our entire operation is completed from start to finish by our own employees. This allows us to keep quality in-house and offer our employees important benefits like health insurance and 401K retirement plans. You can see our employees satisfaction in the work they provide.
